I went in to buy Buldak and had to switch the card I was paying with since it only covered the partial amount and the lady at the counter started laughing and mocked the situation by pointing out how I had to change my card the 2nd time. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOPE THIS PLACE CLOSES. GET BETTER WORKERS WITH BETTER ATTITUDES!!!
I normally go to Kim Anh for my asian ingredients. However, cashier rang me up for something she thought was mines near the register. I questioned why my total was so high and I even went down what I bought. She stated she accidently rung something up by accident. Another time a young tall boy took another vietnamese person over me while waiting in line and i was in line first. All I can say is check your receipts. Also it appears they will take care of their own kind before others. I feel like they are overpriced as well.
Will never be returning here. The people who work here clearly have an issue with Black people. I notice that in the reviews the people who are saying “great service” or “nice cashier” are every other race but black. When my mom and I walked in here, the guy who I assume owns the place immediately starts staring us down. As seen in previous comments, there were 2 men who immediately started following us around and were pretending they were looking for something. The owner was standing in our way and we politely said “excuse me” and he didn’t even acknowledge us and slowly moved out of our way. No one greeted us or said good morning and there was one point where I guess our presence was so unbearable he just blatantly stopped everything he was doing to stare us down. It’s really sad that us black people are very welcoming of other races and enjoy sharing our cultures but other races seem to have an issue doing the same with us. And you have some nerve to be willing to take our money but yet can’t stand us in your store. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to never come here as there are several other nicer and more welcoming Asian markets.
